🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 A heartfelt thank you to our incredible LCSC Alumni for awarding two Teacher Grants to some outstanding CES staff members! 🏆 ✨ Robin Huffman and Shelby Marchal have been granted $1,500 for their innovative idea: "The Cardinal Nest." 🐦 This grant will go towards a washer and dryer, making a positive impact on our school community. 📚 Another big shoutout to Julie Bunnell, who received $482 to publish a class book, ensuring that each student gets their very own copy! 📖✨ Your generosity is shaping the future of education, and we couldn't be more grateful. Mr. Zvers, Jade Cook, Natalia Balcallo, Abigail Mark, and Jesus Tomas-Matias are enjoying small group reading time. 🙌

On Friday, something exciting happened in Mrs. Bever's class! Her father-in-law visited to discuss his father, who fought in WWII. He shared artifacts, stories, dates, and even gave a history lesson. The students were thrilled when he allowed them to try on his dad's uniform!

On Halloween, Mrs. Hernandez's Practical Skills students practiced Halloween safety and used various forms of communication to trick-or-treat around the school!

Ms. Henry’s class practiced counting to 100 by 1s through exercise with Jack Hartman.

Mrs. Hall had a blast practicing trick-or-treating with her speech kiddos! They did such a great job communicating!! Proud is an understatement ♥️
