Aldo is always stopping by to talk to Humphrey and show him his new tricks!

Every year, Mrs. Huffman engages her students with a captivating story about how to stay safe during bad weather. She recounts her family's brave experience of being swept up in a tornado when she was just a baby—last week marked the incredible 51st anniversary of her survival from that tornado. Here are a few photos of Mrs. Huffman engaging with Mrs. Sabatini's class, sharing her wisdom and experiences!

Friday we kicked off our One School One Book event with our book reveal! We will be reading The World According To Humphrey!!! The students enjoyed a short skit, introduction video and our very own Humphrey accepted challenges from teachers in the hamster obstacle course and hamster wheels! All of the CES students were able to try out the obstacle course too! We want to send a huge THANK YOU to the Cass County Community Foundation for funding this and giving our school family this amazing opportunity! We are so excited to begin reading when we return from spring break! Stay tuned for more pics and videos!

Last chance for guesses....

Hmmm...

Mrs. Huffman caught something chewing on a book upstairs this morning. Maybe our special visitor? We will find out tomorrow!

We learned about measuring length by measuring our class mates with markers.

Mr. Robertson notices one of his students didn’t know how to tie his shoes. With a bit of practice and some fun techniques, the student tied his shoes all by himself today!

This opportunity is open to our 4th grade students that will attend Logansport Intermediate School next fall.

Student Council taking advantage of a nice day and picking up around our school while they show their leadership abilities!

Congratulations to our 4th grade teacher, Mr. Zvers on being our Applebee's teacher of the month award winner.

Last week, we played sharks and lifeguards with the littles. It is one of our all-time favorites in the building.

Having some fun while giving back at pins for kids.

🎉 Late but Great: SRO Appreciation! 🚔❤️
This week, we finally got to celebrate our incredible School Resource Officer, even if it was a little late! 🥳
💙 Monday: Staff surprised him by decorating his office door!
💙 Tuesday: He received a special box filled with all of his favorite things.
💙 Today: After leading a professional development session for our staff, he was gifted a framed photo featuring a cardinal (our school mascot) and bird feet representing each of our students. 🐦👣
We are beyond grateful—not only for the safety he provides but, more importantly, for the meaningful connections he builds with our students each week. Thank you, Officer Farris, for all you do! 💙👏

Miss Blackburn's class was named Jellyfish class of the week. They did an awesome job of listening and worked hard to learn how to jump rope last week!
