My name is Robin Huffman. I have been teaching Special Education for 27 years. I share my classroom with another amazing special education teacher, Miss Shelby Marchal, and three excellent assistants, Mrs. Shae Lantz, Ms. Erica Huddleston, and Mr. Hsa Lei. I love spending time with my family and watching my boys Cooper and Mason play sports.

In Mrs. Schmaltz's class, the students are working on their first STEM project. They are challenged with building the longest paper chain. They had to first plan independently, then plan together, and finally build their chains. After completing the task, students were asked how they could improve their designs. This activity is a team-building activity, and it teaches the steps of STEM, which the students will use during future projects.
