In Mrs. Schmaltz's class, the students are working on their first STEM project. They are challenged with building the longest paper chain. They had to first plan independently, then plan together, and finally build their chains. After completing the task, students were asked how they could improve their designs. This activity is a team-building activity, and it teaches the steps of STEM, which the students will use during future projects.
