This week in Miss Rodriguez’s class, we’ve been digging deep into rock layers and fossils! 🪨🦕 My students got creative and built their own edible models, with gummies representing fossils hidden in the layers! 🍬🔍 It’s been so fun watching them explore Earth’s history in such a tasty way!

Miss Howards class did a marvelous job in the Gym on Friday. Listened to anew game on Friday and played it very well.
On Friday, Miss Marchal and Mrs. Hernandez’s classes listened to “Apple vs Pumpkin” and then learned about how pumpkins and apples look like, feel like and taste like!

Mrs. Henry's second grade class had a great time with our community reader, Teresa Zimmerman from the Cass County Chamber of Commerce! Students got to learn a little bit about what the Chamber does in our community, and Mrs. Zimmerman read "We Don't Eat Our Classmates" (a crowd favorite).

We were lucky enough to have our instructional coach, Kelly Minks, lead us in our afternoon professional development last Wednesday. She provided us with an engaging read aloud lesson, with a connection break led by Mrs. Pearson, and a breathing break by Mr. Maggart!

The winner of the Golden Jellyfish for the week of 9/2-9/6 was Miss Kauffman's class. CONGRATULATIONS!! Today’s Frisbee golf session was a total hit. They were great listeners, helpful with scorekeeping, and worked together to navigate the course.
